Philosophical Debating

Philosophical Debating (continued)
Over the last ten days New Mexico’s Tea Parties exercised remarkable power in Santa Fe. And as the results of the tactics were scrutinized, the feedback received on the analysis began to take on a vaguely familiar pattern. Analysis that suggested a two-year coalition would advance the causes of limited government, lower taxes, business, and a strict adherence to the interpretation of the U.S. Constitution ran headlong into inferences that those in favor of such a tactic were compromising their morals. Engaging in political debates can get tedious. Not being able to pass moral tests might explain why when the topic of politics comes up, some people change the subject. We won’t be changing the subject.
We know full well that we are in the kitchen here at News New Mexico. And we understand it gets hot in there sometimes. We thank everyone for listening to our radio show and the Internet stream of our radio show. We also thank you for going into the archives of our shows and listening to older broadcasts. Finally we thank you for reading the news and commentary posts on this website. Without your interest it would serve no purpose to have these discussions.
