The Wrong Direction? Why?

Jim Spence
Polls suggest a vast majority of Americans think the nation is heading in the wrong direction. Today's horrible jobs numbers merely confirmed what virtually every American except those drinking Jonestown Kool-Aid already know. The economy, like America, is headed one hundred and eighty degrees in the wrong direction.
A quick read of the jobs report should have had any self-respecting independent thinker immediately wondering why the Keystone XL Pipeline project, which could have made the jobs report much more palatable, was killed by the green energy crowd in the Obama administration.
Why when he says we must do better, does Obama allow his followers to continuously cultivate an irrational hatred for the corporations and employment opportunities that make it possible for us to fill our gas tanks at lower prices?
Amazingly, this green fantasy crowd, which has exclusive access to Obama's ears, continues to intentionally ignore the mounting list of solar and wind bankruptcies. People with common sense need to wake up. These bankruptcies are a signal to stop throwing away billions of taxpayer dollars at companies manufacturing items people do not want to buy. The Obama camp makes excuses for sorry jobs numbers every month. They also insist that another pipeline, buried amongst dozens of other pipelines in Nebraska, will somehow spell doom for the "environment" there. So the president and his minions throw away all of the jobs and the tax revenues that would come with them.
It is time voters knew that the three largest oil companies in the U.S. alone pay some $37 billion a year in income taxes. Think of how much additional income tax is collected from employees working at Exxon Mobil, Chevron, and Conoco Phillips.
New Mexico voters need to understand that the culprits are Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. These economic illiterates can only continue to keep America headed the wrong direction if they are empowered by voters. Their colleagues in New Mexico are easily identifiable. They are: Tom Udall, Martin Heinrich, and Ben Ray Lujan. These three men, along with Michelle Lujan Grisham will continue to do things that keep us headed the wrong direction if we send them back to Washington.
